Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme(IGNDPS)

Eligibility
An individual with a disability level of 80 percent or higher.
Individuals who are disabled and between the ages of 18 and 79 are eligible to receive the benefit.
This scheme’s benefit is available to disabled individuals in Gujarat who live below the poverty line (BPL).
For rural areas, this is determined by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, while for urban areas, it is determined by the Ministry of Urban Housing and Poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

Beneficiary
An individual with a disability level of 80 percent or more.
To be eligible for the benefit, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 79 and have a disability.

Benefit
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries are entitled to receive a monthly assistance of Rs. 1000/-. The State Government provides Rs. 700/- of this amount, while the Central Government provides Rs. 300/-.
The scheme provides support through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the applicant’s post/bank account.

How to Apply

In Gujarat State : To apply immediately in rural areas visit your Village Computer Entrepreneur (VCE)   and in urban areas visit District Social Security Officer Office.
